My Mom (Doris) and I (Wayne) drove from Palm Springs to the Rose Bowl the morning of January 1, 1992. We got there early, and had plenty of time to walk around the Stadium prior to the game. Our tickets were in the Washington end-zone, which was fine with me. I bought a Reference 1 program for $6.00.
The Washington team turned in a sterling performance and won the game convincingly. They ended their season undefeated.
After the game, part of the drive back to Palm Springs was slow due to heavy traffic. We stopped for dinner along the way.
