After visiting Grand Canyon National Park, I (Wayne) drove through Flagstaff, AZ to Oak Creek Canyon (Reference 1). I stayed at a campground there for one night … The next day, I drove to Sedona, AZ; I spent part of the afternoon shopping. I then drove to Hwy 17 and camped along the Middle Verde R. in a RV Park. The following morning, I drove to Tempe. After checking into a motel, I checked out downtown Tempe. I went to the first day of the Pac-10 Track & Field Championships in the evening (18 May 1991). The following morning I drove around the Phoenix area. I went to the 2nd day of the Pac-10 Championships, which were again held in the evening. I flew back to Seattle the following day.
