Trip to climb Mexico’s Volcanoes
Because I was planing to climb Mt. McKinley in 1986, I decided to join a guided trip to climb the Mexican Volcanoes in November 1985 in order to get some experience with altitude. I met the guide Phil, and the other team members in Mexico City. There was an earthquake in Mexico City in 1985 prior to our trip. Phil looked into it some before the trip, and decided that it was still a go. Although we saw some damage from the earthquake during our trip, most places we went to were fine. Reference 1 is a good book to read before going on this trip.
